Hi Folks--Finally got a chance to check in on the pigdog website--it's nice to see entries from Diana Lavin and Bjorn too! I have a photo of Bjorn getting kind of friendly with a birch tree in the White Mountains in New Hampshire...At the time, I had decided Bjorn needed to be exposed to other new england tourist attractions, so he and I made the 3-hour drive. I recall jabbering nonstop at him because I was having a mild panic attack: Bjorn was extremely quiet and shy, and a beginning-English speaker !! I think I may have even brought my dog bonnie too, but she wasn't a strong contributor to the conversation...I smile when I think of those carefree times! Quick update: Scott and I and the brood are currently (temporarily) living with his folks while we look for other affordable housing. In Sept 2001 we officially outgrew our 2-bedroom apartment, since the birth of our first son Dominic Joseph. I don't foresee us remaining in Mass for much longer; finding affordable housing on a teacher's salary is impossible! Still homeschooling the two oldest girls, Jasmine & Jackie (now 6 and 4 1/2). Meanwhile Madeline (Maddog), age 2, is tearing the house down. I am loving my full-time position as home manager/mommy. Scott had been subbing full-time in local schools til he was offered a position in the Special Ed Department working with 2 boys with cerebral palsy. ..Well, that's the basics. I hope to be in a new place when I check in again! Anyone have suggestions outside of eastern Massachusetts? (We wou ld like to stay in New England, but even that is negotiable.) Love to all! --Lisa : )

Hi - I was just fooling around on the google browser (basically typed in my name to see what would pop up) and found myself among the missing! I'm enjoying your website! So, to fill you in... I finished an MBA in '89, worked at 3 biotech companies since then. Bought a condo in Brighton in '90. Took up swing dancing about 4 years ago, met a great guy while swing dancing, married him (his name is Gregor Weiske, originally from Berlin) and we have a baby boy - Nicholas Christian (almost 9 months old!), who is crawling and getting into everything not bolted down. I'm taking some time off of work to be a full time mom and am enjoying my time w/him! I hope all is well w/all of you - everytime I pass Gardner St. I think of you all (and especially the Thanksgiving and other assorted dinners!) Diana

Hello Pigdog. I finally could see this webiste and it reminds me of so many things. Seems like I am the only Japanese so far?! The period I stayed in the house on North St. was only several months, but it was very comfortable and quiet. I wish I could have spoken better English, then I could have been more fun.(doesn't mean I didn't have fun there) I hope I can visit the hourse again sometime. I go back and forth between Japan and Hawaii but never reached to the east coast yet. I wish all of pigdog res idents happiness, and special thanks to Steve!

Dear pigdogs, I stumbled across this web-site today. I am amazed. Made me remember the few months I spent in Allston in 1987, had almost forgotten everything about it, although it was a very fantastic experience. I still live in Sweden, married to Cathy, she's from Africa, met her France. See photo of our two boys Pierre and Gustav, at www.nada.kth.se/~bjorns/pag.jpeg I don't travel to US so often nowadays, but visited NASA Ames in Mountain View, CA, this summer, and had a great time. Hope you are all doing well!

Hello pigdogs. Did I have an encounter this morning or what! While not an official Pig Dog (I only encouraged the move from garner Street to North Street) I know many of you. Today, As I walked in the front door of my current employer, who piped up and asked, Are You Su san? Justine Covault. Yes. She too is alive and well and living in Arlington and working where I work (Harvard Business School Publishing). Her hair is no longer raven purple but mine is still curly.

My wife Debby has been appropriately nagging me to update my bio.. as many of you do not already know , Jennifer is no longer my girlfriend.. Having said that I wonder if those who became Pigdogs through (+/-amorous) relationships with other Pigdogs, retain their status after the split... Kind a like if your mother's sister divorces her husband... Is he still your Uncle? anyway here we are in Oswego,NY ,in the land of snow waiting for our new house to be completed..since Aug. Jeremy(18 months), Dani el(12yrs), Debby and I wish every one a happy holiday. Love Jon

HI old pigdog chums and pigdogs I've never met! I think about you folks often. Saw Steve/Alison, Sharon/Jack at Bob/Helen's a few weeks ago. For you others, a quick update: Scott and I are living in a smaller-by-the-minute apartment with our 3 little girls-Jasmine,Jacqueline & Madeline. Scott is slaving away at 3 jobs, as a teacher, so my life's mission of being an at-home mom may be fulfilled. The girls are doing well socially, developmentally, artistically, etc. I am excited to have finally begun homeschooling Jasmine, after many years of research and gathering materials. ... I would love to hear from some of you; as you might imagine I don't get out among grownups much. Love to you all--

Despite rumors to the contary, I do actually read the pigdogs email list. I am happily living in downtown Los Angeles (I walk two blocks to work. I have one of the best commutes in LA) working for a benefits consulting firm. I have not made it back to boston yet. I will be there in July for a day on my way to wedding in Maine. The webpage is great. :)
