A Pigdog snapshot album
- Art and Steve studied
together at Oxford in 1978. (You can guess who was the bad
influence on whom here.)
- When we lived at the Gardner Street Palace, we used to like to act
silly (Janet,
Lisa, Paul, Jon, Chuck)
- ... that is, all of us but Art.
- There were three girls living
downstairs from us in '85 and '86, but I don't remember their
names ...
- Paul and Janet got married in 1988. The Pigdog contingent was in full
force at the wedding (Tim Murphy, Lisa, Paul, Art, Colleen,
Jon)
- Jon's motto was always, "Beauty is in the eye of the
beholder."
- We liked to take pictures of ourselves on the front porch (Steve,
Bob, Petra, Lisa in 1988),
but sometimes you'd turn around and the porch would just disappear.
-
Here
are Helen, Bob, Justine, Steve and Klaus in 1990.
- There once was a car named Heideblitz (and a
crazy German named Robert Teiber...)
- Bob sees that
which others can not.
- Steve always had
his own slant on things.
- This is what Art
looks like.
- No, this is what Art
looks like. (It's a Helen.)
- Here's Justine in the kitchen, cooking up a
storm.
- Here are Sharon, Lisa, Helen, and Bob on the porch at Gardner St. in about 1989.
- Here are Lisa, Sharon, Bob, Helen, and an unidentified
spaceman on the porch at North
St. in about 1991.
- Lots of people on the porch in Medford.
(1995?)
- Lots of people around the dinner table in Medford
(1992).
- We tended to have lots of German visitors sleeping on the
floor
of our living room.
- Halloween parties were always
a Pigdog tradition. Ed Baker was a Turing
machine one year. Elise
went as an un-blushing bride.
Steve
was a bag of biohazardous waste.
- We enjoyed occasional outings together. Here's Steve,
Marlen, Joanne Pacini, Lisa, Chuck, and Jody
on top of Mt.
Holyoke in 1989.
Leon Melkonian
joined us for a canoe trip in 1993.
Lisa and Scott
went skating on one of our many Mittersill trips.
- Ian enjoyed a different
kind of winter sport. When not laboring outdoors, Ian made
funny videos and played bass in a band called
Superhate.
- Chitra didn't have time for any such outside activities. The
reading she had to do to
prepare for her comprehensive exams just piled up and up and up.
- MaryAnn and Dave Hamel had a bit of misfortune at the Grand Canyon.
- Bob and Helen got married. Then they had Adeline.
- Amy and Jon
got married in 1997.
- Steve didn't move out until he married Allison in 1998.
- Chuck and his bride, Lisa, had an exotic wedding in
Hawaii, where they were helicoptered into the rain forest to be
married under an
enchanting waterfall.
